Are you thinking 16s???? I was thinking 17x8 38s, just so DC2, DC5, FG2...etc. Guess it will depend on the general consensus.

I am definitely interested in 18 x 8.5 and I have a DC5. Any estimate on how soon we need to have a down payment? From what I know, Volks is waiting for SEMA to announce these wheels. Just to make sure, we need to get 10 sets made for every size to get it produced right? So would end of the year be sufficient? Need some time to get the funds. I'm assuming lead time would be around 6-7 months like the Time Attacks.

The wheels can be ordered now. It will be anounced next month at SEMA, or at least on display. As for your fitment, if you think there will be enough interest, thats not a problem.

Well I know I can speak for the DC5 guys when I say 18's are pretty popular for show rims. I don't see anyone buying these rims for track purposes where 17's would be more ideal.How much are we looking at for these rims so I'll know how much down I'll need to get.

Sad to say, no. As I posted above, the response from Mackin was in stone. If its not on the list, fogetaboutit. So, the 16x7 is the option of choice.
