im not trying to call the guy a scammer but i am trying to get his attention and make him hurry with shipping the main caps, i did deal locally with the guy and bought the block from him but i dont build motors and had no idea about the main caps and my mechanic told me about the importance of them when i got back and i wasnt to happy. so when i contacted him and asked him for them he said he would find them and we would meet up and i could pick them up, but once he found them he told me 2 ppl left his job leaving him and 1 other guy to cover all the hours. So he asked me for my address to ship them and i gave him it and he is yet to ship them.

oh i agree but when i called him and told him the situation he said no problem ill find them and get them to you. so its kinda in the deal and my car has been sitting for too long

but u didnt tell him anything about the main caps at the time of the purchase of the block?
see theres only 1 reason why someone would not include main caps.
that reason is : they lost 1 or more so their obviosuly not gonna show up with main caps missing.... cuz thats just not gonna happen lol.. no 1 sells their main caps unless the motor is going to get scraped or something...
main caps are specificly machined for that block. I.E the crankshaft will not spin properly or not spin at all with different caps.
now the reason why im explaning this is because im sure he lost them.
main caps are not something u can sell (unless) the buyer is planning on machining the caps n the block to fit.

I have a set of GSR main caps (standard size) that I'll let go for $5 picked up or $15 shipped. As discusses earlier they will need to be line honed in order to be used but they are in perfect condition. LMK if you're interested. And I don't have the girdle...
