It is too bad this CTR doesn't carry it's original motor and tranny. Was there anything wrong with it? Also, why trade for a lower trim model EK hatch plus cash? What you have here is a "gem" and if it were up to me, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

i bought the motor with the 1.8L already installed. i drove it with the 1.6L and later before i owned it, the previous owner decided to change it out. there was nothing wrong with it, he said it just didnt feel fast. the reason i am selling it is because what i was planning to do was use it as a track car, but i am reconsidering using this shell because its just too expensive. i wouldnt feel as bad if i were to crash a regularly available shell such as a USDM chassis. another reason is i cant take it anywhere, i am very paranoid. i have had three cars stolen from me in the last 6 years and i didnt want this to be one of them.
BTW, at this point in time, i need to change this ad up. the motor is now out of the car, because i was going to put it in another chassis, but i am going to part this car out and sell the EK9 chassis complete. if anyone is interested in my registered shell, please PM me.
Pat S, the original motor isnt that great, i would have swapped it out anyway. the difference between a CTR and ITR motor is night and day.
