i work for honda
its been done before. and has been overlooked and people never got caught. and people have also gotten caught. if people will take the risk of breaking into a garage for a car...they will take the risk of cutting a key.
also. if the person comes in to get a key cut. all they have to do is say they ****ed up the first key when cutting it. and make a 2nd one. noone will think anything of it. besides the fact that when the keys are programed there will be 1 more key in the cars system. but im sure they can figure something out for that one also.

Most K-Pro Ecus Have Immobilizer removed unless otherwise programed. So HIis RSX had it Disabled Since it started up and they took it..... **** THieves Always Enable the immobilizer

No news today...when I talked to my buddy he said it took the cops forever to show up to make the report and they didn't seem to care too much about the car getting stolen. That's Chicago for you though, doesn't surprise me.

That's ****ing terrible and exactly why I personally don't give a **** when you hear a sob story about a Chicago cop getting killed. They're supposed to uphold the law and take serving and protecting the people with the utmost care, but they don't care and they never will.

as i former chicago resident i can tell you that not all the cops there are bad...im not saying that most of them arent but just because a select number of cops go the shady route dosent mean you should write them all of as a whole. and to the op im sorry you had your car stolen and wish the best of luck in a recovery of some sort

I totally agree with you bigpwr. I would never wish anything but good things on somebody, I was only stating that the officers didn't seem to care much for my friends loss. On the other hand though, the theft in Chicago is getting outrageous and I'm sure theft is a daily routine for these guys.
That being said, no news on the whereabouts of the RSX. It's long gone and hacked up most likely!
Re: **STOLEN** 2002 Acura RSX Type S Satin Silver Metallic
check the pound at sacramento...i recently picked up my car from the pound and there where like three silver rsx's in the redeem line. they where all gutted.

i completely understand where your coming from. i mean if my car was stolen id expect for everyone and there mother to look for it lol i was just pointing out that no one should be happy when a cop dies. even a bad one. karma people. again i really hope that you get something back from this even just getting the bare shell would be better than getting nothing

And I also understand where the two of you are coming from but, and I probably should have mentioned this earlier, my dad was involved with the Chicago PD for several years, not as a cop however, and I have heard some pretty shitty stories of what those guys do and how things kind of work down there. The things that never ever get to the public, but completely sway the opinion of those who know or hear stories of what cops are really up to. I know there are good cops out there but unfortunately the Chicago PD is littered with shitty ones and when I say that I don't care when we hear a sob story about one cop dying, I'm talking about those who probably got what they deserved. Either do your job to the standards that are set forth or find another job, especially one that doesn't involve protecting the public.
Re: **STOLEN** 2002 Acura RSX Type S Satin Silver Metallic
After playing phone tag with my buddy the last few days, we spoke and the car was found the next morning actually. Bad part is that as we suspected the car was basically a rolling shell. Just about all that was left was the suspension, door panels and the majority of the dashboard.
My friend and I appreciate all the feedback and please keep an eye for any suspicious parts. Thank you!
