Got my kit today. I must say, it looks to be of vastly superior quality to the $60 shit kit I got from a wretched HT sponsor that I won't name here.

All metal ballasts, quality looking bulbs and a pretty glitzy case for them. Smooth transaction, too. Took about 3 business days to get here. And you simply can't beat the warranty. Totally worth the extra money over lesser kits, since I intend to keep my truck forever.

Only gripe is I ordered 5000K, the box has 5000K marked, but the bulbs are labeled 4300K. Oh well...

Will post pics as soon as I get my truck unstuck from behind Pikes Peak tomorrow and install this kit.

They are more expensive, $220 shipped I believe for the best quality D1S bulbs with it. There are lower grades of bulbs, but..... wouldn't recommend those to you.

Kind of bummed that the 4300K bulbs become ~3800K because the 55w ballasts wash out the color, but it's still way better output and color than the original halogens.

Thanks for posting up the photos!

Our bulbs are 55w bulbs though, so they are specified at 55w output for color after 100 hrs run time. In other words, after 50-100 hrs or so, the output is truly 4300k they should not exhibit washout at all.

Thanks for the feedback.

A crisp line as in a crisp cutoff line? You would need projectors really to do that, the reflectors in your vehicle are not designed to produce that as case studies have shown a stepped or gradual cutoff is more preferred by North American drivers (probably a flawed study in my opinion).
