Electron Blue Pearl 99' Civic Si with a CLEAN TITLE in TEXAS!!!! PICS ADDED
Looking to sell my 1999 Si with 153,000 miles, Clean Title, and fresh rebuilt OEM spec head. Its completely stock with the exception of:
AEM cold air intake
Exedy stage1 organic clutch
Exedy light weight flywheel
Skunk2 coilovers with Tokico blue's in the front and stock struts in the back
Skunk2 front upper control arms/camber kit
Ingals rear camber kit
MSD wires
Infinity kappa components in front doors
Either stock or Vis Carbon fiber hood
Clean title and i am the third owner. Have had this car since 2001. Oil changed religiously every 3000 miles with synthetic. Clutch and flywheel went in at 140,ooo miles. The head was just taken off and rebuilt with OEM honda parts and replaced all the motor mounts which cost me $1400 alone. Boots were changed on the drive shafts in 2004.
This car has had the passenger fender replaced in 2006 due to someone kneeing it. I had the front of the car painted when i replaced it. The ignition column is not the original one and uses a seperate oem honda key. After an attempt to steel my car i had to replace it because they bent the tilt mechanism. Rear emblems are missing from the same instance. Rear bumper has a crack in the corner of it. It has a few dings from being a daily driver, nothing major what so ever. Struts should probably be replaced at some point and tires will need to be changed.
This car is pretty clean, has the factory Si spoiler, stock exhaust never removed, stock interior is mint. Car comes with original front emblem, original front struts, original springs, and original stock Si wheels with an extra Si rim as a spare. It has been unmolested and maintained since i bought it in 2001. This car is no longer driven so mileage will remain the same. I am to paranoid that it will be stolen to take it out of the garage.
Everything functions properly on this car, has cold A/C, Power Steering, Sunroof works and does not leak. The only other thing it will need is a new driver side window weather striping which was messed up when they popped the window. It has a generic alarm which has been disabled but comes with two remotes.
Asking $5000 obo. Its a great car in good condition. Some what hard to come by now days. I will have pics up soon when i get back into town.

More pics, just got it out of the shop. Mileage has been updated, 153,8xx miles. Will wash and clean it. Re adjust front bumper from tow truck, replace steering column and fix plastic panel. Have original shiftknob and carpet will be replaced with original unless you want to buy the JDM OEM Ek9 carpet seperately. Emblems have been stolen off the back of the car. Still have original front emblem for the grill. Any questions, just ask. Serious offers only.

$6K OBO. Have a few offers that i am considering. No one pays the asking price so there is room for negotiation, at least i have never payed the asking price for a car.
However with that being said, please remember that i just paid $1400 for the head/motor mounts, belts.
If you are interested and have the cash, do not hesitate to send me an offer. Thanks

Detonation, too much compression ( cylinder pressure) for the octane, will pound out rod and Main bearing quite quickly. Except on Honda-Tech where people run 13.5-1 motors everyday. Of course total timing at WOT needs to be like 17, and a big BHP loss. Having a 13-1 street motor is like saying my d*** is bigger than yours, except it never gets hard. The dumbest Honda guy's i have ever met want more than 12-1 on a street motor, with pump gas. Legal octane variations are 4%. So your "93" can be 89.

Thanks man. Yah its dirty and it needs some love but it will be back up to par this weekend. Its been sitting in a garage for about 6 months if not more and has not been touched till i took it to the shop. I took off the front bumper when i had it towed so it wouldn't get ripped off.
Washed, vacumed and bumper re-attached this weekend. I should just make another post cause it will look so different.
