that sucks man, Contact pay-pal they will investigate it for you and retrieve your money... it's in the policy... also do a reverse search on his phone number (to find his address) fly up there if you have to. Always get a sellers Name, Phone number, address, and any other information available. . . You should also contact aol and request the users information. If you need any help let me know bro. . . I own HondaHopUp.Com and have had my share of attempted scams and am used to dealing with them I know how bad they suck.

You should contact AOL. I know that they are bastards but if you tell them that you need the information for a legal suit they are abliged by law to give it to you. Just supply the guys name and email address and see what happens. That would be a good bet. Or you can call his number from another telephone and see if he picks up. Even if he has caller ID then he still cant tell it is you. Also you can dial *70 (at least in Canada) before you dial and it will say "Private" on caller ID display boxes. I think it is like a $0.05 charge though. You should also record the conversation when you get on the phone with him. That is because if you are doing any legal stuff it might be inportant. I hope this helps you out. Being scammed is a bitch I know I had had it happen a few times.

i always check up on people if im buying stuff... this is just for anyones future purchases... whenever i sell stuff to someon... i tend to give them resources where they can find out that i am legit... i know what its like to have doubt nowadays so i always try to make the buyer a happy buyer who is sure of his purchase

Hey I did a little bit of searching for you and I found an online Comment/Question Form for AOL. Go to http://www.aol.com/info/feedback.html and fill out the form there. That should at least get your foot in the door.

call your bank and claim you never made the transaction. Its almost like fraud, but you get your money back and paypal gets screwed.

File a police report first. Then file a claim in small claims court. Send a subpoena to AOL they will have to give you the info.

Did you use a credit card? If so call them they will investigate and return your money. It worked for me. I always use my credit card on large purchases via the internet because I know they are on my side where as paypal isn't.

Post this info on Clubsi.com in the Northeast section, I'm sure someone knows this guy. I'm in VA, but about 30-45 mins from Manasas, and 15-25 from Alexandria. I've never heard of this guy before. Hope this helps.

I agree, file a poilce report of fraud. If the post office was used at any point file mail fraud against him. File a fraud complaint with AOL , get a supena and AOL will have to turn it over they have the records believe me. They dug up messenger records on a murder case a while ago. Post everything you have on him. I am in the general area and can make inquireies. Get a supena for PayPal also, they will have records on system backups. They will get them if they are forced to. They are lieing if they say they are gone forever.

I live in northern VA too pretty close to that address like 20 mins I'll watch out for him.

Maybe even pay him a visit fraud isn't cool, neither is scamming people especually about car-related materials

hey man, locatelli rao is a good guy, i've dealt with him before. the reason he's not around much is he just started going to school full time, he used to go part time and had alot of time to fool around with car stuff. keep in contact with him and he'll come around and send you your sheit. lata
