Icon6 HOW TO: Lock Threads & General Rules...

Below your user name in thread view there will be an icon(very bottom left side):

Press this icon and it will send me a report. Please try to be specific w/ what you need or else your report will most likely not be attended to.

You can also use this button to report spam, thread title updates/changes and/or other forum related issues.

Also, please try and lock all threads that are currently dead and to keep all related items in ONE for sale thread. Feel free to post a couple more threads but please use good judgment.

You can also PM me directly about any Socal Classifieds Related issues but remember, H-T is not liable/responsible for any items for sale here and I am not the internet police so please take caution w/any transactions on here.

Thanks and good day,

rw

Default Re: HOW TO: Lock Your For Sale Thread

No Commercial threads or threads that are made solely for the purpose of gaining profits. If I find anything that even remotely appears commercial I will lock/delete that thread. If you continue to abuse your privelages here then further infractions and or a removal from HT may occur.

This includes service threads such as mechanic work, paint, smog hookups (which is illegal I may add).

If you wish to be a sponsor here then contact:

I am allowing more than one for sale thread at one time but please NO REPEAT For Sale THREADS with all of the same items in multiple threads. This is called Spam and I will delete all of your threads if I see this.

Also, please make your thread titles more specific:

A few of you have noticed that I have been editing your thread titles. Sometimes members have many parts for sale so a thread title such as "OJ's Garage Sale" or "Misc. EF parts" is permitted but try to make your titles as specific as possible. I only enforce these rules to help you and your potential buyers/sellers out. If you receive a special Private Message from me then now you know why and sometimes I'll just close your thread.

Also, NO cursing in your thread titles and please do not make misleading thread titles. Please only post what you have and not what it may look like using 'style', etc. If i find it, I will lock and/or edit your thread w/o hesitation.

Thanks again,

OJ

Site Guidelines and Terms of Use
The Site Guidelines can be found here:
http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2599445

The TOU can be found here:
http://www.internetbrands.com/ib/ter...Honda-Tech.com
These forum rules are in addition to the terms of service.

*******************************************

This is a working draft. For now, I am listing the preexisting Site Guidelines and The Terms of Use. Many of you really need to read these.

Since the old % system is no more, we have infractions.

Here is a breakdown of the infraction system:

30 points: there is an automatic ban from the site for 30 days (good luck surviving that long)
50 points: you are banned permanently from the site.
