Ok guys i have a minty original Type R. Block was rebuilt by Acura dealership due to spung bearing under warranty. car is balck on black. interior is in perfect shape exept for one cig burn on driver seat. (sukssss) Floor mats are not in such a good shape.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>I have a 92 CX with an h22a in it that im looking to trade for a stock DC. The car is in ok shape. There is some rot forming over the rear wheel wells and the drivers door is bubbling. The car has 145k on it and about 70k on the engine.<br />
<br />
I just did a timing belt, water pump and replaced the timing belt tensioner while in there.<br />
<br />
The car also has crower stage 2 cams and adjustable cam gears, a 2.5&quot; exhaust and an old aem intake on it. Has tein basic coilovers in it. An unnamed aftermarket lower tie bar and upper rear strut tower bar.<br />
<br />
The car needs a chiped ecu and tuned, I had a hondata in it but needed it for another project so I robbed it and stuck the factory prelude ecu back in it.<br />
<br />
The car also has an M2L5 tranny in it right now, but I do have the JDM non-lsd tranny for it, it just needs a rebuild as I believe a shift fork is bent and the syncros for 2 and 5 are gone. (will go into 2 and 5 just grinds) (pops out of 2nd)<br />
<br />
The car deffinately shows its age but with a little bit of work could be rather nice.<br />

Bolted the cage in, assembled most the panels including interior with all the parts i have, Cleaned up the underdash harness..Also have red ITR seats with rails i will include if the trade or sell is right. The seats have no tears or wear on them. Only thing is the plasic piece that says recaro on the side towards the center counsel is a little cracked, but was there when i purchased them from steve at HMO. Also can include a fully rebuilt shortblock with vin still intact b16a2 with a 00 head ( needs to be cleaned up its a lil dusty ) and b16 em1 tranny. Pics are somewhat old can take newer ones upon request<br />

I have a 92 cx hatch look to either sell or trade for a running honda/ acura... My shell is a CLEAN title and comes with a bunch of aftermarket parts. I never could imagine the day would come, but at this point I am focusing on the future and am liquidating all unnecessary assets to relocate for employment in my career field.<br />
<br />
It really pains me to do this writeup. I have more blood, sweat, and tears in this car than I care to admit, in a way it has become a part of me. My hope is that it ultimately winds up in the hands of someone who appreciates the meticulous and thorough work of a well trained perfectionist. I estimate to have about 1000 hours of work in this car from beginning to its current state, I will never get that back, but it was a challenging endeavor and a success as far as I&#8217;m concerned.<br />

I have been driving the car daily up until a couple months ago when I acquired a vehicle more suitable for state-to-state driving. With the exception of the turbo blowing a seal (will explain later) there have been no failures, engineering flaws, or discrepancies revealed to date. I believe this car to be more solidly engineered and constructed than 98% of other turbo Hondas on the road and truly has great potential for a long lasting and serious power making setup.<br />

The car has never seen a drag strip as I felt that would tax the wear items more so than I was comfortable with; however, I do enjoy an occasional spirited drive on the weekend or a quick windup on the way home so it has never been beaten to the ground, and I do NOT do 5th gear pulls. <br />
<br />
It is rather unfortunate, I suppose, that the car was so close to being complete, but never fully achieved that point. With a properly built short block, this car would shine and make for a spectacular track and daily driver car. I believe the setup would probably achieve 450-475 whp with a simple short block build. An upgraded turbo would probably raise that limit to near 600 mark if you like big power.<br />
<br />
Currently, a stock B18C1 block is in place and has served well. When I purchased the original vehicle it came out of, there was 70k on the clock. At that point it received a reworked head and it has since been untouched other than routine maintenance to this day. The block has about 140k at this point, it is still running great and shows only the slightest trace of smoke during a hard windup. The only problem is that for the past year I have found traces of piston in the oil filter (I cut all my filters open), stock pistons would be expected to slowly whittle away at these power levels. If boosted frequently, oil consumption is high, not burning oil, but blowby through the rings, which is dumped overboard at the rear of the car. If boosted conservatively, oil consumption is reasonable. The block may hang in there another year, I honestly have no idea, but I can say it still runs great without any problems.<br />

chassis &#8211; <br />

There is no rust at all, NONE. I brought it back from SC about 3 years ago and it lived there its whole life. I&#8217;ve always washed it following a snow. There is no chassis damage whatsoever, it is rare to find a chassis that has never seen an instance of some kind of chassis damage. There are a few dings here and there which a good dent guy could massage out, but if you sight down the sides of the car it is good and straight, never repaired. Every suspension component was removed, cleaned, replaced with new oem rubber bushings, new boots, and greased with silicone as the Helms manual states. The paint is just now beginning to show a small area on the roof where the clear coat is hazing, overall it is in good shape.<br />

Garrett T3/T04E 60 trim .63 A/R, purchased new, ported, upgraded 360* thrust bearing and overlapping hot side oil seal. Lower CHRA section incorporates bracing and heim joints to rigidly secure the exhaust assembly to the block. Note - I rebuilt this turbo after I realized it was the ignition cut rev limiter in eCtune creating massive afterfires that caused the hot side oil seal to go out. I sent the rotating assembly to Gpopshop for balancing and rebuilt the entire thing and did some porting while upgrading the seal. I did notice a better response in spool time afterwards. The unit has many miles left in it since it only has around 8k miles since the rebuild. The after fire problem is resolved and currently uses fuel cut rev limiter only.<br />

This setup was just beginning to operate efficiently until the oem map sensor limited boost to a safe number. The torque curve is holding flat even on up towards the limiter. At the rate output was increasing with boost, by 15 psi the setup should easily clear the 400 mark.<br />
